"Taryn Bock’s book “A Helpful Guide to Reducing Triggers for RADS (Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome) and Other Breathing Issues” should be the Go-To Manual for Everyone who is living with RADS! Through her personal RADS journey, experiences, and tried and true methods to help mitigate exposures, triggers and potentially life-threatening reactions, she has brought a wealth of knowledge to help others navigate their lives. Taryn’s singular determination to provide tremendously insightful and urgently needed information to the world is, simply stated, a GIFT of HOPE to the sufferers of RADS! Thank you Taryn!!! "

"I just finished reading Taryn’s book and it was excellent! There are many solutions to avoiding triggers and how to live carefully but to the fullest. This will be extremely helpful to those diagnosed with RADS or Occupational Asthma patients. Thank you Taryn for all your efforts in helping others." Laurie Ann, California USA
"Hi Taryn, I purchased your book initially because my grandson has asthma, so I wanted to find ways to help reduce things in my home that might trigger him, for when he visits. I was blown away with the amount of information in your book, which helped me to achieve this and so much more. Thank you!" Karyn, Victoria, Australia
"This is a great read that documents Taryn's journey from sickness with a diagnosis of RADS to living life again. She goes from rock bottom of barely functioning through gaining strength, courage, knowledge and ultimately her life back. She researches and through trial and error creates solutions that can benefit us all. I really enjoyed how she documents and shares everything she learns. I've found this information to be very helpful in my own journey and it's saved me heaps of time and heartache in finding what works. Thanks Taryn! Stay strong!" Cheers, Katrina Farnham, Australia
"Dear Taryn, I wanted to let you know that until I read your book, I was unaware of just how many products in my home can impact on my health. My partner and I are now living a much cleaner lifestyle and my new Air Detective skills work really well." Gail, Victoria, Australia
"Finally, a practical guide and ingenious way to relieve anxiety when faced with breathing issues!" Lisa, Victoria, Australia

From the Author Taryn Bock
With no current treatment for RADS and being told by medical professionals to "limit your triggers", I could not find a book that explained how to do that. So I began documenting the successful strategies and methods I had created to reduce or eliminate my triggers. As a consultant and mentor to hundreds of people around the world with RADS, I shared many of my strategies and the feedback was so successful, I decided to fast track the information and put it all in one book.
A Helpful Guide to Reducing Triggers for RADS and Other Breathing Issues was born and is laid out in a way that the EBook allows you to quickly reference by clicking on chapters. It covers many subjects that I hope you find useful and practical. Things like, how I reduced triggers when walking or driving my car, identify everyday items that would trigger me but took years to recognize, develop my Plan of Action, learn how to create a safe room, become an Air Detective and so much more. If you purchase the hard copy, ensure you have a pen to highlight items of interest because it has a lot of information.
If "A Helpful Guide to Reducing Triggers for RADS and Other Breathing Issues" was available when I first got RADS, it would have saved me from exposing myself to many everyday situations or products that left me with severe breathing issues or lung pain for days or weeks after. Therefore, I hope it's a valuable and helpful resource to other people newly diagnosed with RADS or those with breathing issues.
It's my understanding that it's the first and only book of it's kind in the world specifically about living with RADS,so I am extremely proud.
Due to the fact RADS is an ongoing journey, I am keeping notes for the creation of Volume 2, so stay tuned!
Proceeds from the sale of my book will go to help maintain this website and fund more flyers and awareness trips about RADS ( I drove to Western Australia in 2019 and delivered flyers to many hospitals along the way) and to further shine a light on RADS across the globe, so thank you for your support.
